Are you visiting a religious place? Here is the SOP you’re required to follow

Now, people visiting any religious place will have to follow a standard operating procedure. The SOP was released by the Union Health Ministry on Thursday. Religious places will be opening from June 8 as Centre begins ‘Unlock 1’, reopening of the country except containment zones in view of the coronavirus crisis. Meanwhile, the management of temples, mosques, and gurudwaras are making all arrangements so as to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection. The SOP mentioned by the government will be in addition to specific measures to be taken at particular places. The government has also advised persons above 65 years of age, persons with comorbidities, pregnant women and children below the age of 10 years to stay at home.
