One of the key objectives of webinar was to underline importance of changing technology and its impact on business. The speaker took us to a journey from Mid 18th century to 21st century, explaining how evolution of technology has enabled business toward efficient processes and turning factors of productions on its head.

Impact on Indian Economy due to Low or Now Cashflow

The webinar further progressed with the discussion on impact of Covid-19 on drying up cash flows and slowing economic activity. The speaker stressed that Covid-19 is a key trigger in implementing digitization across the industry. Many aspects of the business processes are likely to turn digital and being tech-savvy is likely to yield benefits to employees.

Speaker discussed the Facebook-Jio deal wherein, Mark Zuckerberg has recently bought nearly 10% stake in Reliance-JIO. This deal is likely to disrupt the technology sector as Facebook’s official statement reads –

“This investment underscores our commitment to India and our excitement for the dramatic transformation that Jio has spurred in the country. In less than four years, Jio has brought more than 388 million people online, fueling the creation of innovative new enterprises and connecting people in new ways. We are committed to connecting more people in India together with Jio.”
